[NOS Alive ’18 – Day 1] What’s worth seeing?

17h – Palco Sagres: Vermú

Os Vermú são uma banda de Albacete e foram os vencedores da edição espanhola do EDP Live Bands. Nada como começar o Festival com um Indie atual vindo da vizinha Espanha.

17h40 – Palco Sagres: Juana Molina

A histórica cantora argentina Juana Molina trará ao Nos Alive a sua folktronica experimental, num concerto que se espera demonstrar toda a sua originalidade e estilo inconfundível.

18h50 – Palco Sagres: JAIN

Jeanne Galice, conhecida por JAIN é uma artista francesa em grande ascensão. O seu pop dançante e com influências africanas deverá conquistar os festivaleiros e, espera-se, fará com que pela primeira vez no festival, os presentes se levantem para dançar.

20h15 – Palco Sagres: Wolf Alice

Oportunidade de ver o verdadeiro animal de palco que é Ellie Rowsell a acordar o monstro rock no primeiro dia do Festival. Espera-se um set enérgico e cheio de power dos Wolf Alice.

21h40 – Palco Sagres: Friendly Fires

Depois de um concerto no Alive de 2011 que deixou boas recordações, espera-se que os Friendly Fires, a regressar aos poucos aos grandes palcos, possam demonstrar uma vitalidade renovada.

23h05 – Palco Sagres: Khalid

Artista revelação em 2017, Khalid, o cantor alternativo de R&B  fará a sua estreia em Portugal e terá certamente uma legião de fãs ávidos de presencial pela primeira vez ao vivo, o concerto de um artista em ascensão meteórica.

00h05 – Palco NOS: Arctic Monkeys

Dispensam apresentações. São o motivo pelo qual uma parte dos festivaleiros comprou bilhete para o primeiro dia do Alive. Curiosidade para perceber o que os Arctic Monkeys farão ao vivo, pouco tempo depois de terem lançado um novo e pouco consensual novo álbum.

01h35 – Palco Sagres: Sampha 

Em 2017, com o seu álbum de estreia, conseguiu logo ganhar o Mercury Prize! Sampha tem vindo a coleccionar elogios e espera-se um concerto onde a electrónica se alia ao seu poder vocal numa mescla que deverá provocar uma enchente no Palco Sagres.

03h10 – Palco NOS Clubbing: Sophie

Sophie é uma artista transgénero que foi produtora de nomes como Madonna (estará ela no Alive a ver?), Charlie XCX e Vince Staples. Será certamente um espectáculo impactante para fechar o primeiro dia do festival.
