Primeira nota: Amos Lee é um jovem songwriter de Philadelphia que vem assegurando, juntamente com Merle Haggard and the Strangers as primeiras partes do novo espectáculo do mestre Bob Dylan.

Segunda nota: Este é um trabalho fenomenal, muito mais sendo um disco de estreia.

Num trabalho composto por 11 temas com letra e música do próprio Amos Lee, encontram-se momentos de grande inspiração, onde Amos Lee mostra, por um lado, toda a sua capacidade enquanto singer-songwriter, capaz de o levar a fazer as primeiras partes do «The Bob Dylan Show», por outro lado, mostra ser um músico capaz de apresentar uma brilhante fusão entre folk e soul, que o irá conduzir muito provavelmente ao topo dos tops de vendas.

Da audição deste trabalho, resulta claro que Amos Lee procurou condensar e reflectir no seu trabalho um pouco de cada um dos grandes nomes da história da música folk-soul norte-americana. Desde as inevitáveis comparações com Bob Dylan, passando por nomes como Otis Redding, Bill Withers ou Van Morrison, até novos registos como o de Norah Jones, que colabora neste trabalho.
